Students to VBODA All-District Band

• Freshmen Mackenzie Roof - Trumpet and Roland Gerhardt - Horn were selected for the VBODA District XIV All-District Band.

• The auditions were held in December, and those selected returned to Millbrook High School for two exciting days of rehearsal and performances on Friday & Saturday, January 31 and February 1, 2025.

• Dr. Tim Robblee, the Director of Bands from Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, VA, conducted the High School All-District Band through staples of the band repertoire.

• Additionally, because of their high placement in the district-level auditions, Mackenzie and Roland can audition for the VBODA All-Virginia Band at the end of February.

• Congratulations to Mackenzie and Roland, and good luck to them with their All-VA Band audition!
