Chamber Orchestra is the orchestra class for upper-level musicians. An audition is required in order to enroll in this ensemble. Audition information can be found below.

 

We meet every other day on the "A" day during first block. We perform in at least three concerts per school year and at the VBODA District Concert Assessment in March, typically playing VBODA Grade IV or higher.

 

Participation at either All-VA Orchestra, Regional Orchestra, All-District Orchestra, All-County Orchestra, or Solo & Ensemble is required. Other opportunities such as Section Leadership, Music Council, and Tri-M Music Honor Society are also available to Chamber Orchestra students.
