Congratulations FHS Violinist

Senior Fauquier High School Violinist Shelby Rochez auditioned in early October for the VBODA North-Central Virginia Senior Regional Orchestra and was selected as the 16th Chair on 1st Violin. The NCVRO is comprised of counties from the Loudoun, Prince William, Stafford, and Spotsylvania line of counties westward, to the border with West Virginia. The selected students converge on Lightridge High School in Adlie, VA for two days of rehearsals and a concluding concert on Saturday, November 13 at 3:00 pm. The concert is free and open to the public. By being selected for the NCVRO, Shelby is also eligible to audition for the All-VA Orchestra in late February. She is currently the President of the FHS Orchestra Program, the student-leader of the FHS Tri-M Music Honor Society, a member of the FHS Chamber Orchestra class, the Falcon Marching Band where she is the Drum Captain, and the Talons of Steel Pans Band. She plans to major in music upon graduation. Congratulations and good luck!
