Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, OH for 2 days & a Visit to the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh, PA

Dates - June 11 - 13, 2024

Who Can Go?

All Students & Parents/Guardians in Fauquier Music who are in good standing. Adults must pass the FCPS Background Checks as well.

Price

Remember: this trip includes all meals and drinks except two meals while we’re on the road home on the last day. The price may be higher than you initially expect but the meal and drink plans save you lots of money. The Dining Plans are ALL YOU CAN EAT AND DRINK, ALL DAY. Also, the students do not have to bring a lot of funds for food, run the risk of spending all their food money before the trip ends, or possibly lose their food funds!

Fees are based on the Number of Participants and the Room Distribution - Quad Occupancy is used for the calculations below. The final amount will vary depending on the rooming needs and the exact number of participants.

• 25 (Participants Minimum Required for Trip to Occur) = $465 each
• 30 Participants = $430
• 35 Participants = $405
• 40 Participants = $385
• The price is lower still if more people go! There is a Max of 50!

• 2 Days Admission, with EARLY ENTRY, to Cedar Point - The World’s Largest Amusement Park! 
• 2 Nights at the Cedar Point Breakers Express Hotel
• Boxed Breakfast each morning
• All Day Dining Voucher X 2 Days
• All Day Drink Voucher X 2 Days
• Admission to the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh, PA

What is NOT Included?

• Lunch at the Carnegie Science Center
• Fast Food Dinner on the way home

Purchasing Your Ticket for the Trip - Online - OR - Cash/Check/M.O.

If possible, we would like for everyone to purchase their tickets and pay online through the website. However, this is not required. If you want to pay by cash, check, or money order, please bring your payment directly to Mr. Paul who will register you while you wait. Then you will be instructed to place your payment in the FMO Payment Box at school. No worries! Checks/money orders payable to "FMO" or "Fauquier Music Organization."

• Midnight - Bus Arrives; Load Luggage
• 12:30 AM - Depart for Cedar Point
• 8:30 AM - Arrive at the Park; EARLY ENTRY for us!!!!
• 9:00 PM - The Park Closes; Check-in at the Hotel Breakers Express

Jun 12, 2024

• 8:00 AM - Boxed Breakfast at the Hotel
• 9:00 AM - The Park Opens an HOUR EARLY JUST FOR US!
• 9:00 PM - 9:00 PM - The Park Closes; Back to the Hotel

Jun 13, 2024

• 8:00 AM - Boxed Breakfast at the Hotel
• 10:00 AM - Carnegie Science Center
• 1:00 PM - Depart for FHS
• 8:00 PM - Return to FHS

Chaperones/Parents/Guardians

• Chaperones are required for this trip to happen. Parents/Guardians who are not “Official Chaperones” are welcome, as well as family members who are students in FCPS, as long as we have the seats available. Music Student seats always come first!
• The first three qualified Chaperones who pay in full will receive a huge discount! When you register, enter the Coupon Code “@Chaperone” to see if you are one of the first three to register as a Chaperone. Again, you must pay in full as a Chaperone to receive the discount.                       
  • If additional REQUIRED Chaperones are needed, we will extend the discount to the next person(s) who registered. 
  • Chaperones will be required to aid at all times when needed.  
• Additionally, throughout the park and science center, each chaperone will have up to 10 students with them at all times.
• Finally, ALL Adults, whether official chaperones or just parents/guardians participating, MUST complete the FCPS Background Checks.

Refund Policy

• The first $200 is NON-REFUNDABLE for all participants unless the entire trip is canceled.
• Afterward, depending on due dates for tickets, hotels, fees, etc., additional payments may not be refundable. For example, ticket sales are final so once we purchase the tickets, we cannot refund the cost of tickets. Also, if refunding your fee causes the price for others to rise, we cannot refund your fees.
• Generally, any online payment processing fees are non-refundable as well.
• If the price drops and you have overpaid, you will be refunded the amount of your overpayment.
