The Fauquier High School Orchestra Program has been recognized by the Virginia Band and Orchestra Directors Association (VBODA)  as a 2024–2025 Program of Honor  — one of the highest distinctions a music program in the state can receive. This recognition is given to programs that demonstrate a long-term commitment to musical excellence, consistent participation in VBODA events, and strong student achievement both in and beyond the classroom.
